The craft beer world and the influencer marketing world actually have a lot in common. The core values of the craft beer industry are shared by influencers on social media: community, authenticity, and sincerity.

According to Influencer Marketing Hub, 86% of businesses intended to dedicate a portion of their budget to influencer marketing in 2019. There are a huge variety of influencers on social media, all with different styles, specializations, and strengths. It’s important to find influencers that fit with your unique brand - people with a similar vibe and the right target audience.

Smaller influencers (people with less than 100k followers) are great at spreading a message to the communities they have built on social media. These influencers are seen by their audiences as trustworthy and genuine because they have a small community of followers compared to the social media superstars.

Think of influencers as the new display network. An influencer can feature your beer on their social media pages and tell their followers to follow a link to your online store so they can purchase it. You can also give the influencer a discount code for their followers, so it’s easy for you to track ROI. Influencer collaborations are a super effective way to build brand awareness, drive traffic to your e-commerce website, and encourage sales. And that means more people can experience your brew.
